So my oldest daughter has ventured into her new life. The life of college, the freedoms of college. As mom I am both so excited for her and so sad that my first bird has left the nest. I will pray each day that she will make wise choices and meet good people. I love her so much and want the world for her.

If it must be this hot, I can at least remember being so cold in San Diego that a run on the beach was the best way to get warm.
